Photos are of the HMS GW Strangelove, it won the "best sculpture" and the People's Choice Award on Saturday, August 2, at the 2003 Catawba River Romp Kinetic Eco-Race in NC.    That's BREDL's Dave Mickey piloting the craft overland with assist from volunteers, bound for the Lake Norman segment of the race. The HMS GW Strangelove was created by BREDL member Mischi Binkley of Winston-Salem. (nb-Lake Norman is the McGuire Nuclear Station reservoir)
