On October 15, 2005, Bonnie and
Claude Ward, affectionately known as “Bonnie
& Clyde," were given special recognition
for their many years of service to the Blue Ridge
Environmental Defense League. Bonnie and Claude
are community organizers known for their
fearlessness, tenacity and dedication. They have
the heart, the brains and the courage so
necessary for making the world a better place,
