Electric Power's Glen Lyn coal-fired
Power Plant (along with other AEP plants
in Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky
and Virginia) is part of an Acid Rain
Phase II NOx Compliance Plan.
The Plan consists of 39 AEP
units, including the 3 Glen Lyn
units. The averaged annual emission
rate for all units will be .61
lbs/mmBtu. This plan calls
for an INCREASE in the Glen Lyn average
NOx emission rates.
